9th Street BMX: It's My Park Day (IMPD) 3-2-2019

We had a great IMPD today thanks to our volunteers and APF!

We planted 28 native plants, picked up litter, swept the entire park, maintained the jumps and created 3 new rollers into the Kid's Pump Track.

Mayor Steve Adler, Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) Director Sara Hensley and Austin Parks Foundation (APF) CEO Colin Wallis showed up to support 9th Street BMX! We are very thankful for their support! It means so much to have city leaders take time to meet us and help out!

Also thanks to all the volunteers and APF (Kathleen Mannello, John Rooney, Barry Rivera, Colin Wallis). Big thanks to Aron Hoag, Marty Cristman and Kenny Horton for their hard work today and with the 9th Street BMX Non Profit Group.

Good turn out for the 18th Annual 9th Street BMX Halloween Jam. The trails were soft and slow due to all the recent rain. People pulled together as always to get the jumps running and have a fun day. We had over 100 hot dogs and TRAIL RELISH! Tejano Trails- Pepper Memorial Jam 10-12-2019

The Tejano Trails Pepper Goertz Memorial jam on 10-12-2019 was rad. Great turnout of people including pepper's family and the Mayor of Pflugerville Victor Gonzales. Thanks to everyone who helped to get the trails dialed and support a great cause. Bless Pepper G. RIP brother - we miss you. 9th Street BMX: 19th Annual Halloween Jam

Even though we had to postpone the 19th annual Halloween Jam from 10/26 to 11/2/19 due to a flood we had a good turnout and a great time. Thanks to everyone who helped out: Thomas Hooper the sick art, flyer and shirts. Big Rob for the diving board long jump delivery and set up. Squalor house - Nutter for the diving board rental.
